For the horse lover who is tired of the rush, the pressure and the rigid timelines and expectations of traditional training. Welcome to a cooperative space where you are invited to slow down, drop your armour, be chosen by a sovereign equine soul and learn the rare art of completely tackless liberty on the ground and potentially riding.

The Australian Liberty Equestrian Academy has settled onto the sacred coastline of Bundjalung Country. We have stepped away from traditional (clinical grids, forced compliance and rushed lesson blocks) to build a cooperative sanctuary grounded in emotional responsibility, alignment and the absolute sovereignty of the horse - pure, light and deeply restorative.

We do not have students or clients, we have a dedicated community of guardians. We do not assign horses. We hold a space where a horse steps forward to intentionally choose you during your first visit.

Our Mentored Part Lease Memberships offer a rare, deeply supported journey with one specific equine soul. You are anchored to your own set consistent days each week to build stability for yourself and the herd. Once you arrive at your agreed time, the ticking clock stops. Your session lenth is dictated entirely by horse time - based on your horse’s nervous system’s needs that day.

Together, you will learn to navigate the quiet geometry of our slice of this land, regulate your shared nervous system to the coastal winds and practice the art of clean, heart-centred connection.

To protect the frequency of this land and the peace of our herd, intake into our community circles are kept intentionally small.
